The main ingredient of instant adhesive is a-cyanoacrylate. It's a single-component, low-viscosity, transparent and rapid curing adhesive. It's mainly used for tight fitting, adhesion of porous material, such as rubber, metal, plastic and wood, etc.
Application:
HiGlue 496 is a transparent, colorless, low viscosity, general purpose, methyl-based instant adhesive that is particularly suited to bonding metals. Other materials bonded include plastics and rubbers, as well as polyolefins (in combination with Primer). It offers a fixture time of 10 - 30 secs.
